Man’s Long Journey

A Synopsis of the Kosmon Teachings by Greta James: A Consideration of The Seven Revelations of Oahspe.

All of us alive are companions on a very important part of man’s long journey, a journey which has been going on for nearly a hundred thousand years and which will continue for some thousands of years yet. The finest possible account of this journey, that is the evolution of mankind, pointing towards a final stage as yet unrealised, is, I believe, contained in the book OAHSPE, written and published in America a little more than eighty years ago.

It was in that part of the world that there began rather more than a hundred years ago a strange new penetration of the material world by the world of spirit, manifesting at the time in many signs and wonders, in much poltergeist activity, in the self-discovery by many of the powers of extrasensory perception, of automatic writing, clairvoyance and clairaudience and even the powers of miraculous healing. Many are prepared to believe that this was due to a deliberate parting of the veil between the world of matter and the world of spirit, a parting such as may occur at times in human history and always with revolutionary results.

Since that time, though the surges of miraculous manifestation have somewhat died down, there has taken place in human history a revolution so profound in its effects on human life as to place us in a period of human change, second only to the manifold changes which laid the foundations of our former civilisation about 12,000 years ago, when man changed from being a hunter and collector to a dweller in fields and cities, having knowledge of architecture, of domestication of animals, spinning and weaving, pottery and metal work.
