By rail, the nearest British Rail station is Tadworth which is approximately 1 mile distance from the Sanctuary. By road, you will approach Walton on the Hill via the B2220 from either the Tadworth (Walton Street) or Dorking (Chequers Lane) direction.
The entrance to Walton Manor is in Chequers Lane opposite a small green with houses on the other side. There are now gates to Walton Manor. These open automatically for cars. For pedestrians, just push the button for entry.
On entering the drive from Chequers Lane, follow the road past Walton Manor and continue on bearing right where you will see Spinney Cottage. Please adhere to the speed limit within the Manor. There are several speed humps.
In front on the cottage there is a small car park for a limited number of cars. If there is no room left, there is curb side parking in Chequers Lane.
